A Motion Sickness Bracelet That Works!

Can a Motion Sickness Bracelet Really Make a Difference?
A motion sickness bracelet that works?
It appears so!
Here at Holidays for Family, we try hard to suggest reputable family travel products .
Recently, I’ve discovered a ‘motion sickness bracelet‘ and many believe they do work!
So, being curious, I had to look into this product further.
Unless you’re one of the fortunate few who do not suffer from any form of motion sickness, then you’re probably like me, always in search of that perfect cure for this most ‘uncomfortable ailment‘.
Here’s a short video on motion sickness in general and a few recommendations to assist in overcoming this annoying illness .
Enjoy …
It seems there are legitimate products in the marketplace to help prevent motion sickness. Such products are motion sickness wristbands and many people swear by them!
My father is a WWII Navy Veteran and is one of the lucky few who never suffered from motion sickness. In fact, he said it was so common that only a handful of crew members on board ship were not affected by seasickness.
He has often said that if there were only a motion sickness bracelet available back then, many sailors could have possibly stayed on board ship. For me, I can get seasick, airsick and carsick given the right circumstances.
I’m always searching for that perfect cure because I … “love to travel.”
” Do You Suffer From Motion Sickness? “
A Motion Sickness Bracelet Worth a Closer Look
Motion sickness can at times spoil a big part of a dream vacation or those cruise holidays you’ve waited so long to go on. For this reason, I think any product with credible backing that can help prevent motion sickness, is definitely worth a try.
Travel products as this may not work for everyone, but motion sickness bracelets have continued to show significant positive feedback and results for many people wearing them.
Briefly, motion sickness is:
“A disagreement between what your eyes see and what your inner ear feels.”
“Motion sickness is nausea, disorientation and fatigue that can be induced by head motion.”
You can also get a more detailed explanation on motion sickness. Just about every product on the market today suggests the solution to motion sickness. If so, then why are so many of us still getting sick?
I know I still get motion sickness! From chewable tablets, liquid remedies, ginger root to travel shots, it’s all available and they all seem to have the perfect remedy and cure for the illness.
Do they work? Certainly, for some, but not most!
I’ve tried them all, but I still suffer occasionally from motion sickness.
The tablet formulas are effective, but most times are a relaxant and just make you feeling drowsy. I don’t like taking medication of any kind, so I am always looking for ‘natural solutions‘.
I discovered this unassuming motion sickness bracelet and I am definitely going to give it a try on my next flight or taking another family cruise vacation.
I’ve always been aware of those patches and wrist bands for motion sickness treatment that have been available on the market with mixed reviews.
I’ve had family members try these different products in the past with inconclusive results.
Motion Sickness Bracelet – Provide Relief of Nausea
Motion sickness bracelets apply continuous ‘acupressure‘ to the vital acupressure point in the body that ultimately
relieves nausea caused by a number of ailments.
Such ailments include motion sickness, morning sickness, cancer treatments to surgery anesthesia. Now there are motion sickness bracelets that only require you to wear one, not two!
This immediately caught my attention as I had no intentions of wearing two wrist bands looking like a geek while traveling!
A motion sickness bracelet applies the principle of Acupressure, which works much the same as acupuncture.
Definition of Acupressure:
“The application of pressure on specific points on the body to ‘control symptoms‘ such as pain or nausea. Similar in concept to acupuncture but without needles.” MedicineNet.comFurther reading, I soon discovered this is also referred to as “shiatsu”.
This is the Japanese name for pressure point application originating thousands of years ago in China. Basically, it involves acupressure applied to certain points on the body to relieve a specific symptom or condition.
This motion sickness bracelet works by triggering light pressure to one of these points, specifically the one located on the wrist. The end result is relief from motion sickness.
This lightly applied pressure from the motion sickness bracelet assists in relieving the “sensory conflict” symptoms created from the brain. It creates a balance thus relieving motion sickness symptoms.
” Motion Sickness Can Ruin Your Vacation! “
In my research on this subject, I also read that motion sickness is very common and quite normal.
What?
In my experience, this is not normal and in fact I find it extremely abnormal and irritating.
I cannot think of a worse feeling than that of motion sickness!
So, if you or a member of your family occasionally suffer from this condition, why not give this unique travel product a try and see if it helps you or a loved one prevent motion sickness.
I would happy to receive any feedback on this subject from you that I may pass on to our readers here at Holidays for Family.

Don’t let nausea spoil your holiday plans, give a motion sickness bracelet a try!

I’ve never used a motion bracelet before and may give it a try. As for eating a big meal before hand….you gotta be kidding me!! Ya right Sammy!
Thanks for your input Harold. I’ve ordered one as well for our next flight or cruise. Definitely worth a try as I am one of the unlucky ones!
I believe that these are all in your head. Believe it or not, the best cure to motion sickness is to make sure you’ve had a very big meal prior to travel — this changes the ionization in your GI tract and relieves gastro intestinal pressure that causes motion sickness.
So instead of pumping yourself full of drugs, or walking around looking like a grade A retard with a bracelet on — eat a couple of big macs and enjoy your holiday. It’s easy, and it works.
I think if I had a couple of burgers in heavy seas would have me running to the ‘head’ faster than the roadrunner! But hey, everything’s worth a try! Thanks for dropping by!
