After all, Canada is my home and I am proud to showcase this great country to the world.
I grew up in Victoria, British Columbia.
It’s located on Vancouver Island, situated off Canada’s west coast.
As we westerners more commonly refer to as … “the wet coast”.

Holidays in Canada – A Few Facts
The population stands at just over 34 million and growing each year. The longest distance from the East coast to the West coast is 5,514 kilometers.
Canada is a vast country, spreading out over 3,854,085 square miles, making it the second largest country in the world by total area.
This beautiful country stretches out from the Atlantic Ocean on the east coast from Newfoundland, to the Pacific Ocean on the west coast at Vancouver Island. Its borders reach the 41st parallel to the south all the way up north to the Arctic Circle.

This vast countries make – up consists of Ten Provinces and Three Territories, each offering something special and unique for those taking a holiday to Canada.
Provinces beginning from the west:

The geography of Canada is very different and this is evident when you travel from Province to Province and through each Territory.
From coastal beaches to deserts and rainforests, the scenery is fabulous and will leave you breathless!
Canada is a ‘year round playground’, with fabulous winter and summer activities to suit most everyone.

From the beautiful surrounding islands and shores surrounding Vancouver Island on the west coast, the stunning Rocky Mountains to the east, Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse and fishing village in Nova Scotia on the east coast, it’s all here and so much of it!
